Worker’s
Compensation Advisory Sessions
Consultations related to workers’ compensation are billed using WorkCover-approved rates.
Patients must provide billing details, including an authorisation number and insurance company name, during their appointment. Worker’s compensation certification must be paid upfront by the patient but can be fully claimed back from the insurer. Our doctors will bill the insurance company directly for any additional reports or case conferences.
Please note that standard consultations are not covered by insurance and must be paid on the day. If you don’t have a claim number, your employer may cover the consultation cost using AMA (Australian Medical Association) rates. When booking, please specify if your appointment is for workers’ compensation or a third-party claim. Medicare rebates do not apply to these consultations.
