Health Assessments
If you are aged 45–49 and have risk factors for a long-term illness, you may be eligible for a health assessment. This can include a nurse evaluation and blood tests, subject to clinical assessment. Your doctor will review your results and discuss a personalised health plan to support your well-being.
Huntlee Healthcare provides general practice health assessments to support patients across different stages of life. Consultations are delivered by independent doctors and are based on individual clinical assessment, current guidelines, and patient needs. Services may include routine health reviews, assessment of health concerns, and ongoing management where clinically appropriate.
Age-Specific Health Checks
Doctors may offer health assessments in line with eligibility criteria and clinical guidelines, including:
Health assessments for patients aged 45–49 years to review health risks and preventive care needs
Annual health assessments for patients aged 75 years and over, where eligible
These assessments support review of overall health, daily functioning and ongoing care needs, with advice or referrals provided where clinically indicated.
Preventive Health Care
Preventive health care focuses on identifying and monitoring health risks through appropriate assessment and discussion. Doctors may provide guidance on preventive health services based on individual risk factors and clinical findings, with the aim of supporting long-term health and wellbeing.
